5. Concluding remarks

A summary of this paper is following:

1) Both in uniaxial tensile and compressive tests, strength and deformation properties are not affected by the mix of steel fiber during pre-failure region.

2) The strength and residual strength indicate anisotropy in sprayed SFRC.

3) The residual strength in tensile test, when stress is applied parallel to the sprayed plane, increases linearly with the volume fraction of steel fiber; in compressive test, inversely, just as stress is applied parallel to the sprayed plane, it does so.

4) After 20 years has been passed, sprayed SFRC still maintains its mechanical properties indicating good durability of SFRC.
